Guantánamo
| Guantánamo, located approximately 1,000 kilometers from Havana City, the capital, is the easternmost province of Cuba. Its environment includes scorched stony fields, sparse vegetation and abundant cactuses, contrasting beautifully with the green sugarcane plantations and the woods. In this area is situated the Jatibonico Ecological Reserve, showing elevations known as Moritongos, which are characterized by a high degree of endemic species in flora and fauna.(read more) | ||||
